DAY 1:   Arrival Kathmandu

DAY 2:   Morning:      ICIMOD, Talk program on environmental and developmental issues of the Everest region.

               Afternoon:    Field visit to demonstration site at Godavari (agroforestry, horticulture, soil conservation, sericulture, community forestry etc.).                                    Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 3:   Morning:      Talk program on environmental and developmental issues of the Everest region.

               Afternoon:    Kathmandu Tour (Pasupati temple, Baudhanath Stupa, Patan Square. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 4:   Whitewater rafting - Overnight at the bank of  Trisuli river in tent.

DAY 5:   Chitwan National Park (Rhino watching, bird watching, canoeing, Tharu ethnic dance) - Overnight in national park in resort.

DAY 6:   Chitwan National Park (Talk program on parks management, jungle activities) - Overnight in national park in resort.

DAY 7:   Lumbini (community development program and sight seeing at the birth place of Buddha), overnight in Lumbini.

DAY 8:   Back to Kathmandu, Overnight Kathmandu.

DAY 9: Fly to Lukla (Everest region) and trek to Phakding.  Overnight in camp/lodge.

DAY 10: Everest region - Trek to Namche and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 11: Everest region - Trek to Thame and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 12: Everest region - Trek to Kunde and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 13: Everest region - Trek to Thengboche and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 14: Everest region - Trek to Monjo and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 15: Everest region - Trek to Lukla and overnight camp/lodge.

DAY 16: Fly Back (Lukla to Kathmandu), Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 17: Visit orphanage, Tibetan refugee camp and other places of interest),  Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 18: Kathamandu - Free day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 19: Kathmandu - Free day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 20: Fly back to Canada
